Willoughby Book Club

Hey Happy Bookworms!

So, for Christmas my Mum got me a book subscription for the Willoughby book club! I told her I wanted a book subscription so I was really excited when she got me one!

My mum entered some of the authors I liked online and now I get a specially picked book every month and my first one was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!

*Get ready for loads of commas! I don’t know why there are so many but there are* πŸ˜‚

I got sent my first book a couple of days into January, all neatly packaged and wrapped, it was truly like getting a present! It also came with a little branded badge, a branded sticker and a bookmark with a quote by George R. R. Martin (Game of thrones inspiration):

A reader lives a thousand lives before he dies.

The man who never reads lives only one.

The book I got was Trouble by Non Pratt, which I loved!

It’s told from the point of view of two teenagers, Hannah and Aaron, by alternating chapters. Both characters are very loveable with amazing stories behind who they are – which I love, you can never know who someone is from just a glance.

Hannah is fifteen and pregnant but it’s not Aaron’s, (don’t worry, that’s not a spoiler!) like everyone thinks it is, even her parents, it’s someone else’s – but who’s? Hannah knows, but with the person wanting to remain a secret, all she has is the new boy, Aaron, who, for some reason,Β  has said he’ll be the fake farther. Now another question pops up – why? Why would the new boy do that?

It’s such a different and amazing book that will change your views on friendship, pregnant teens, loss and love – of all kinds.

I can’t wait for February’s book!

Bye!
