My Summer TBR! ☀

Hey Happy Bookworms!

So, I’m writing this back-to-back with my last post (WHY AM I THIS DISORGANIZED?!) But I’ll be on holiday so I gotta write it now! Also, can I just say, I’m so proud of my feature image, it looks pretty good not gonna lie 😏

This is gonna be a little tricky time-wise because by the time this comes out I’ll probably have read more books but just so you know this is based on the 1st of August yes I wrote my last post on the day of it going up that’s why it was up so late

Okey-dokey guys! So my goal for the summer is to read 15 books but I’m hoping I’ll get to more… So far I’ve read 6 & we’re less than 2 weeks into it so it’s looking good! I tend not to read as much when I’m on an actual holiday, like away on holiday, so we’ll see how that affects this but I’m sure I can make it up later if I need to.

Oh! And I’m only counting books that I start & finish in the holidays so if I’d already started it or if I finish it after school starts, it doesn’t count!

Books Read so far:

• The Selection
• The Elite
• The surface breaks
• Looking for Alaska
• The One
• Scarlet

TBR:

I’m gonna split this into different sections so it’s easier to visualize & also, this will probably add up to more than 15 but I’m probably not gonna read it all anyway, or maybe I will *suddenly develops the power to speed read*

Owned:

I’m on a book buying ban (Self-imposed) so there’s not a whole lot that are actually mine that I need to read right now *Smirks at all the people buried under their physical TBR piles*

• Harry Potter

Guys, I’m gonna do it, I’m gonna try and tackle HP! There’s just so much of it so the summer holidays seems the perfect place to start. Anyway, I’m hoping to get through the first 3 books? And then we’ll see how we go from there…

• Dumplin’

• 1984 & Animal farm

Both of these belong to my parents so I’m planning on reading them both (probably gonna start 1984 soon)

Borrowed:

My friend & I are doing a book swap so this is from her, she also gave me the maze runner to read but I probably won’t get round to it on accounts of Harry Potter.

Library:

I’ve had all of these on hold at the library FOR AGES so if they ever come in then I’ll be reading them too 😡
I’ve just looked & they’re all in transit so they’re all gonna come in at the same time – WHY 🤦‍♀️

I read we are young by Cat Clarke (here’s what I thought) & my library has an extensive collection of her books so I really want to read more 🙂
